News from our Members
A few of our members have important posts up this week that we thought we’d share with you.
First up, Adam (me) wants you to know that there is a presidential debate tonight. The debate features Chuck Baldwin of the Constitutional party facing off against Ralph Nader of the Independent designation. It should be a fierce debate, so tune in!
Next up, Justin was able to score an interview with Tim Ferris, that’s right theTim Ferris of The 4-Hour Workweek fame. It’s a great interview and is already firing up the ranks of reddit and stumbleupon, but could always use your upmods and thumbs up to help! I particularly enjoyed the below statement:
I’d rather never have to spend money vs. making a lot of it. Less taxes : )
It’s very true and a great piece of advice for our current economy.
Also over at my personal blog, check out this record setting attempt for the largest business card collection. If you have a business card make sure to send it to Sophie and help her set a Guiness World record!
We also have some news over at OTIBR, where we’ve recently upgraded our scoring system to round up to the nearest whole number for the complete score. We’ve received a few e-mails and looking back it was a case of being too accurate. Our new whole number complete score is less cluttered, while still allowing you to calculate the exact score to whichever decimal point you wish!
Finally, since The 42nd Estate would not exist without our capital from saving our individual earnings over the years, we must give a shout-out to Mr. Money’s latest advice about opening an online savings account. The article makes a lot of sense in a compact post and offers up three banks with respectable online savings accounts. In our current economy, having a savings safety net with a relatively high yield is simply smart, get to it!
Great lineup! I will be sure to send in my cards. 😉
